Use this form to apply for a Council Tax exemption if the property is now unoccupied as the resident is detained, for example under the Mental Health Act or in prison.

This exemption lasts for as long as the person is detained.

You must continue to pay your Council Tax as billed while we deal with your application. Recovery action may be taken if you don't pay.
